As with all games some rather rewarding but short lived moments in tightly confined areas which force the player into a rather linear combat style, with limited choices. In hindsight a rather disappointing title when compared to what I expected from a company that made a groundbreaking appearance with a game called "Farcry".
In many places it feels, looks, and plays like a stunning looking, but poorly made remake of "Half Life 2" from the almost exact feeling whilst controlling the buggys to the rather quick death of the lower ranking aliens. In parts it detracts and returns to a style of its own for a short time, and a few minor boring areas where cloak and move on becomes the best option.
If a player is willing to sneak around chasing their arrows around after each shot there are some really nice opportunities for some stealthy game play which can be rather rewarding, but too slow paced to warrant taking advantages of them at every chance. but well worth the experience at times.
Soundtrack is rather annoying, the game relies on heavy amounts of music to entice the feeling of action within the player, so much so that I actually disabled the music just to give my ears a rest and hear the rather plain, boring, storyline.
In conclusion, good game, not great and rather disappointing, Mediocre experience with stunning visuals...
Score, erm... So how to rate it, taking no other games into account, given the fact i was expecting a lot more from this developer but was overall disappointed with the short seven levels, I am forced to score it lower than I would have liked too.
@ 4/10 - See ya when "Crysis 4" arrives, maybe...
