- The first problem is the frame rate. It dips insanely low on intense moments and it's generally just horrible. It really is beyond my comprehension how EA didn't give Crytek more time to smooth the framerate bareble to watch.
- Secondly: lag and hit detection. These are very closely related with each other and go hand-to-hand with the framerate problem also. I'm sure that there is some way to fix all of this, if Crytek just work enough and make the necessary compromises.
- Host disadvantage.
-Enviromental unawareness: Someone might be shooting at you with an HMG and you might not even know it. This is obviously related to the problems mentioned above, but the aged hardware probably isn't helping on this matter.
Everything I've said so far creates huge randomness to the game, which is absolutely horrible. An FPS just can't be succesful with so much randomness.
There's still a couple more things: balancing issues and audio glitches, which really aren't that big of a problem in comparison to the others.
So TL;DR, if Crytek were able to get the FPS higher and make the netcode just a little bit better, this game would be as good enjoyable as C2. Just my two cents.
