Are PC Players ever satisfied?

Post » Thu Apr 04, 2013 5:02 am

With the original Crysis, you guys rejoiced in the fact it was too demanding for your PC. Now with Crysis 3 after this new patch you guys are actually complaining about the performance drops and how you can't play... I would of thought you all would be happy. What happened to you guys? You used to be cool (and a little insane rejoicing in the fact you couldn't play something)

Disclaimer: This was meant as a joke, so don't get serious and don't irrelevantly bring consoles into this.

There is a difference between being a processing power demanding game and a game that has FPS drops for no apparent reason.

I know I'm a huge noob on this department, but couldn't you try tweaking the graphics settings?

Tweaking graphic settings would help with a demanding game, not in the game that has random FPS drops.

Don't forget to read his disclaimer (the fine print).

Speaking of consoles, I play more on my PS3 than on my PC.

It's not random frame drops. There seems to be an issue with MP and vsync being forced on. You can tell by the gpu usage. SP actually runs much better and there are no more frame drops in the 1st level.

I would be satisfied if Crysis 3 wasn't a beta version..

I wasn't talking specifically about what happened to C3 after that patch. It was more of general statement.

I just don't think folks could see it.
