Not sure if this is the right spot or not, thought it might get a bit more coverage here though.

Recently I've experienced reduced reliability from Skyrim after having a pretty rock solid install for the last 10 months or so (before that, not so good). I've been thinking of starting again with a clean install anyway so that isnt really an issue. The issue is that I've become rather attached to one of my PCs. I've had some of the best times on Skyrim with this character, and I really don't want to lose her, pretty pathetic, I know but whatever. I currently run a feckload of mods, a lot of which I dont intend to reinstall. What is the best way of removing mods from her save without corrupting it and ending up with a vanilla save I can transition to a new install? Would it be a case of removing one at a time and then creating a fresh save?

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated! Also, if this thread is in the wrong spot feel free to hit me with a big stick!
