Good evening, firstly let me apologize if I have posted this somewhere it is not needed or wanted, but I'm afraid I did not quite know where else to ask for help on this matter. Secondly let me apologize if this all turns up looking rather messy and like a wall of text, I'm not used to such a forum post format, I do not know how to even create a new paragraph. And lastly, I'll be giving two versions, the long detailed with a bit of backstory, and the short and sweet version at the bottom. Without further delay, allow me to explain; I have played Skyrim for quite some time, firstly on the Xbox 360, for quite a long time. I have now however, recently begun playing Skyrim upon my laptop instead, on Steam. I prefer PC gaming, as the bugs on the Xbox which caused certain quests to become impossible to complete or certain followers to be unavailable, irritated me to the extent which I 'rage quit' and decided to wait until I could afford it on Steam. This said, any bug of any kind, big or small, irritates me, and if there is a bug, I will fix it with either a console command or in extreme cases, mods. Now, having played Skyrim for a small while, I have come across many "Magic Runes" both those found in dungeons set by mages as traps, or those which I cast myself. On the Xbox, I remember quite clearly being able to SEE the markings on the floor quite clearly, and activate them from a distance. Or at least SEE where I've placed my own.. However, after roaming through tombs and jumping out of my skin innumerable times, I have realised that every single rune in the entire game, is completely invisible. I've searched and searched everywhere for an answer to this bug, but from what I can tell, no-one has ever heard of this before, as I've never seen it reported anywhere before. Now, out of sheer desperation to get this little annoyance fixed, I come to you hoping anyone can think of a solution which may fix this minor, yet incredibly irritating bug.
TLDR : All Magic Runes are Invisible, both those I cast and the naturally occurring. How can I fix this? Thank you for taking the time to read this, any and all assistance in the matter is greatly appreciated, have a nice day!
