I have a video in the works, i cant believe crytek has not even bothered to look into the pole being glitched. When you use a pole, not only do you not carry a speed penalty, but, well... observe.

This is why you people "like" the pole, its glitched and very unfair to everyone else.

Pole is the best addition to FPS games since the addition of dedicated servers :3

I love how the pole jumps very high to the air in the last throw. The rag doll is also amusing.

I agree with both sides here, it is a great new mechanic introduced to fps, but it is very broken at the moment, hopefully they get around to fixing it to make a happy medium.
