How to find out if Skyrim's patches are installing

Post » Fri Apr 05, 2013 7:31 am

I have only had Skyrim for couple weeks. Even without mods it's a little buggy. The problem is, a lot of the bugs were fixed on my PS3 after a patch. I've tried bringing it up in properties but I cannot find where they would be listed. I want to make sure it is downloading the updates, since we I first downloaded it it did not take long and I do not remember the game updating before I played it. I used a disc, but re-downloaded it through Steam to see if mattered. If anyone knows a way I can make the game update if it is not for some reason, please let me know also.

Should be under Steam>SteamApps>Common>Skyrim Check properties on TESV look at details and it will list it's version there.

Thank you. This is the first steam game I've had, most computer games before this didn't have automatic updates. It looks like it is updating. I'm going to try and play with my settings and to see if it is just major lag. Thank you for your help.
