Apologies first of all if this topic has been well and truly covered. I couldn't find any results from searching but may have just been using the wrong search terms.

Why is that I cannot turn off the control hints? I know what the keys are, so I don't need constant reminders of what buttons to press and when. I'm pretty sure most gamers know how to play games without being spoon fed the controls again and again.

If nothing else I find it seriously spoils the immersiveness (is that a word?). Your game looks amazing Crytek, so why wreck it with horrible control overlays on my HUD?!

If I have totally missed this discussion on previous posts, then can someone PLEASE point me in the right direction.

Otherwise, keep up the good work! Thanks for another quality addition to the series.

Crytek constantly shoves tooltips down our throat because they think we're idiots...

Ah well at least it doesn't shout "TACTICAL OPTIONS AVAILABLE" like Crysis 2
