Add a Thieves guild misc quest that allows us to get Heimskr locked up. Or a Darkbrotherhod quest contract for his head. I'm so sick of his preaching and i can't bring myself to kill NPCs for the fun of it. Somewhere in Aetherius Talos sits with is hand over his face saying "OK WE GET IT! SHUT UP!".

You can kill for money, but not for fun?

During my first Skyrim days, I often approached Nazeem and initiated conversation because I thought this guy MUST have something to say. Then he got kidnapped by bandits and the companions quest was to rescue him.

Maybe if you spent enough time with Heimskr...

Hmm, does anybody actually save Nazeem or Heimskr if they are kidnapped?

I save Heimskr. Nazeem can stay kidnapped.

I'd actually free Nazeem...... and then lure all the enemies in the area to him

Response in spoiler, since I am not sure if I should post it unspoiled. Read at own discretion.

Spoiler
Wasn't Heimskr suppose to get locked up if you did the Civil War Quest Line (on the imperial side), but sometimes a glitch prevents it from happening? I think the USKP fixes it if you play on the PC.

Well, Whiterun is technically already in Imperial control when you start the game.

Really, lets not go down that line.

I was under the impression it was nuetral, since Balgruuf kept refusing aid from the Legion until it was clear that the Stormcloaks weren't gonna wait forever for Belgruuf to come around.

@Litter1, after I had done Battle for Whiterun on the imperial side on one of my character, Heimskr was no longer preaching in front of the Talos Shrine. He was in the dungeon, and he wasn't preaching anymore. Like I said, I believe it is one of the fixes implemented in the USKP.

Well he isn't wrong. I mean the Bards in Whiterun sing the age of aggression and Balgruuf's brother is pro-Empire so the whole neutrality thing was just an excuse for Whiterun's inaction in the civil war.
