Hi, I play on the PS3, and Im wondering how do I get rid of items that cant be put in containers or given to anyone, such as Gallus' Journal. The quest I obtained it on has long since been completed, and its annoying that I cant seem to get it out of my inventory.

I know it doesnt seem like a big deal, but it does weigh 2 lbs, and I like to keep my inventory neat and only carry what I need.

Are there any solutions to getting rid of quest items for non PC players?

Quest Items don't weigh a single damn thing. No offense.

Patch 1.9 will allow Gallus Journal to be dropped.

It is known to be somewhat common knowledge that they weigh 0 as a quest item. However...

I am in question about the item once the quest is completed. I haven't thought about that.

Do some quest items bug, are not removed, and implement the carry weight of the item?

Even after, they still don't weigh anything.

I have 7 certain books from Dragonborn.
1 Scroll from the MQ
Gallus' Journal
And a couple of notes from the Soul Cairn (These don't weigh anything)

In total that would be 28 pounds. I empty all my stuff into a chest and my carry weight is still 0.

I honestly haven't paid that close of attention. I have dropped everything and checked the zero weight with ongoing quest items. I just don't remember trying it with bugged items that remain after the quest has been completed.

I know that quest items have initiated the weight to the inventory, but they were also able to be dropped or stored afterwards. It does seems possible the it could remove the zero weight and just bug to keep it in the player's inventory.

I wonder if every bugged item has been checked for this?
