Pure or Hybrid builds

Post » Sun Apr 07, 2013 1:10 pm

In Skyrim we have the ability to create our own class but there are some people that like pure builds(There is nothing wrong with that), but the way I see Skyrim working is around the concept of mixing classes because gameplay is significantly harder/handicapped while playing pure classes.
Examples: Warriors without restoration, Mages without protection and/or damage scaling offensive abilities, thiefs and assasins without one handed perks.

So my questions are how do you prefer to play?
What do you call your prefered class?
Why do you use it?
Do you enjoy the challenge of that class?

I don't see pure characters being at any disadvantage. My Warriors put every level into Health, specialize in 4 or 5 skills and own the game on Master difficulty.

The same for a pure Mage that only uses Illusion and Conjuration. Nothing can even come close to being an issue.

Pure or Hybrid, they are both fun and easy to use.

Cinco, I started to use that Battlemage you suggested way back.

As of now, still a Battlemage.

I use it because I get to blend in my to favorite styles, Mage and Warrior.

I do enjoy the challenge. Currently on Master difficulty waiting for Legendary.
