Ive been looking for a mod like this for quite some time. It always bothered me how in Skyrim, the coldest region in Tamriel, the Imperial Legionaries are dressed so lightly. Its especially jarring if you side with the Empire and have Imperial guards in areas like Windhelm and Winterhold stranding around with nothing covering their hands, arms, or legs in the middle of a blizzard!
Are there any good mods out there that fix this by making the imperial armors appear warmer, without changing the vanilla armors style?
