Need to patch in changing spouses clothing

Post » Mon Apr 08, 2013 7:55 am

I know Bethesda probably has more important things to worry about, especially in terms of Skyrim's glitching, but I really feel that being able to change your wife/husbands clothing would make more people happy than this joke of mounted combat that we were handed. It would be a simple fix and from what I've seen from my internet explorations, a lot of people are searching for ways to do it even though it is borderline impossible to do without some kind of patch. Many potential spouses come with clothes not befitting the lover of the richest person in the world and the Dragonborn him/herself, owner of several mansions and probably soon to be voted Man/Women of the Year.

Some adventurers want to settle down a little bit after beating the face of every bad guy in the province. And usually in involves silly side quests and adventures like decorating your house, getting married to the prettiest NPC you can find, and maybe adopting a kid or 2. Now you must face the utter disappointment that the prettiest girls in all of Skyrim either look homeless, wear priest robes, or dress like men. Imagine what the neighbors must think. We the men that play Skyrim just want our imaginary wives to be dressed in the finest of garments. Essentially this is just to help or OSD subside a little bit and allow us to really think that we have built a pretty cool life for our Dragonborn Character. I hope that Bethesda can see threads like this and realize that its a simple fix that will make a lot of people think this game is just that much better.
