After a long hiatus, I have, of course, come back to Oblivion. The game is just as sweet, subtle, mysterious and bloody fun as I fondly remembered. That aside, I was wondering what your opinions may be regarding the shield, Tower of the Nine (http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Tower_of_the_Nine). For my level 15 warrior, it costs approximately 7,000 gold. At this point in the game, I have approximately 50,000 gold and am now more interested in cool equipment than gold. I like the way the shield looks and the enchantments (Shield 5%, Fortify Heavy Armour 5 pts, Fortify Block 5 pts) are nice. I know that the Escutcheon of Chorrol is probably the best heavy shield in the game, but I want to wait until I level up more before I get that. Thoughts? I am really more interested in generating some more discussion on unique and cool items in general, so please contribute. Let's bring back these forums!
