The DB and ... ?

So I generally role-play my characters. They only do one, maybe two factions, may or may not do the MQ, and then they retire. I just finished my Nord that did the Civil war for the Empire, just because I had never had a Nord do the Civil war for the Empire. Then he got married, two Nord kids. About the only thing left on his plate is finishing the nine divines shrines in his cellar (got three left). But whatever. No interest in MQ and am using a mod to shut off DG until I want to start it so it doesn't screw my game up like the it did with my last character.

So I am thinking about a DB character. I've only done one before and it was a Dunmer who I also did all the Daedric quests with. His RP ended when I used him to also play a vampire and between his radiant quests and random attacks nearly every NPC in the game that wasn't essential was dead. I actually ruined the game ... by design.

Anyway I want to do another DB character, but I want to do a little more than just the DB, but what really goes good with the DB? I have all the DLC's but I'm not sure hunting vampires would be welcome ... since I'll have one in my faction. I already learned that becoming one isn't a great idea. I can't see someone who is head of the DB caring at all about the MQ, especially since if you ignore it it basically goes away. Civil war ... no. Thieves Guild, maybe but I consider running either the DB or TG to be a full time job. I'd love to do something in the DB DLC, but really can't see a DB character doing anything over there.

I don't know. Just looking for ideas to do something along with doing the DB that 'fit' role-playing wise since I don't want to just retire another character after just 25 levels.

Thanks.

I always go Thieves guild with my DB characters. The skills needed for both factions overlap so well that it seems like they were intended to be the factions joined by assassin/thief types. I also don't see why an assassin wouldn't join the TG.

A DB type could do the MQ or Companions if they were looking to be feared or covered in glory.
A DB mage could do the College in the interest of magical knowledge/artifacts.
