I was trying to figure out how to make my shouts more powerful and I was reading this.

Im playing the 360 version right now, was gonna transfer my 360 save to PC and start a new game on PC when I get a gaming computer in May. Anyway, I have found about 2-3 word walls recently and I think I got the word but I never pressed X when I went up to it, it just happens automatically. Did I still make my existing shout powerful? Which ever one it was, I don't remember where the word walls were.
