Heard there was a new patch today so I plugged in my xbox and downloaded it.

Old charcter loads up fine.

I decide to start a new character on a whim.

Tried several times. Everytime it glitches at the same spot.

Once I get to the headsman and he's about to chop your head off the dragon shows up and starts flying around in the background and roaring.

And that's it. Dragon flys around and roars forever. Headsman never moves. Waited in excess of 15 minutes once just to see if it would change.

This has been around for a while now. For me, it can be solved by exiting the game to the dashboard, then starting a new game "again". Yes, you'll have to go through the intro video again. I don't know why, but sometimes it just does this. It may be caused by loading a quick save prior to the Alduin scene, but I can't confirm this for sure.
