To be fair, when I loaded up that save file, the options to save and load were restored, but I'm so disgusted with the game right now, and I'm so sick of losing all of my game progress and having to go through that opening sequence again and again just to see whether Bethesda actually fixed their crappy programming or not that I'm in no mood to hop back into it right now. I might give it a shot again later, but I started over with an all new character and all new save data to make sure all the things that could get fixed got fixed and that i got the definitive Skyrim experience. ...And, for me, the definitive Skyrim experience is still a buggy game made by a company that couldn't care less about the people actually playing it. At least this time, it bugged out early and didn't break on me at the 70-hour mark like the last several times I tried one of their so-called patches.
Even if, by some miracle, this game works properly for me a year from now, I'm so done with this company. I flat out lost my $60 by buying this game. Better luck to the rest of you, and I hope you continue to get some enjoyment out of it. Anyway, that's enough broken-game-beta-testing for me today. I'm coming back now, Dragon's Dogma...I'm sorry I ever took you out of the disc drive in the first place!
