The Towers Theory - Snow Throat

I'm sure that I am not the only one here that is aware of The Towers Theory but to those that are not here are the basics.

One of writers for Marrowind and Oblivion created a character named Nu Hatta who wrote a letter to the Elder Council just before the Oblivion Crisis stating that the barrier between Mundus (the mortal plain) and Oblivion (the Deadric plain) was weakening. What binds Mundus to existence are a series of Towers that each have their own Stones that power the Tower. If the Tower or Stone is destroyed/deactivated the Tower shuts down and the barrier weakens. If all Towers are destroyed or deactivated Mundus will seize to exist. The Thalmor seek to destroy all the towers to destroy man and Mundus and achieve divinity. Here is why i feel this is no concern due to the events that took place in TES V: Skyrim.

The Tower located in Skyrim is simply known as Snow Throat (The Throat of the Word) and we can't be certain if it is active or not. My theory revolves around it being active and that we know It's Stone. There are few possibilities as to what Snow Throats Stone is and i believe, like in the case of the other Towers, it has to be a physical object. This leaves two possible options atop the Throat of the World, the un-melting Snow and the Dragon Wall. Assuming that one of those two physical things is Snow Throats Stone i believe one of them being destroyed or severed will not make any difference at all. Why? Because according to the writer (name slips my mind) Snow Throats Stone is only "Half way there". What could he mean by this? People think that statement says that the Time Wound is the Stone itself but i would disagree. When the three Nord heros "defeated" Alduin using an Elder Scroll they created the Time Wound, casting Alduin forward in time and when they learned of his fate they though they had failed. In reality i think they did far more good then they realize by creating the Time Wound. The Time Wound links two times from the same mortal plain (Mundus) meaning that every Tower that existed back then is now linked the present effectively doubling the amount of active Towers in Tamriel. If the Thalmor plan to destroy all the Towers not only would they have to destroy all current Towers but all Towers in the past as well. How would they do this you may ask? They would accomplish this by using the Elder Scrolls. The Elder Scrolls themselves are the very fabric of Time and Space meaning they are the only way to use or destroy the Time Wound. This is why i believe the Thalmor are targeting the Empire out of the Blue. They wanted to march on Cyrodiil to reach the White-Gold Tower which was already deactivated at the end of the Oblivion Crisis. If it was already deactivated why march on it? Because the White-Gold Towers houses nothing other than the Elder Scrolls. With the Elder Scrolls in the Thalmors possession they could use them destroy the time Wound cutting us off from the past and all it's active Towers. This did not happen however. When they attacked the White-Gold Tower and destroyed it the Elder Scrolls just scattered by unknown means and using my theory this make sense. If the Scrolls evade the Thalmor then they cannot be used to destroy the Time Wound.

Now that the Thalmor's plan has been crushed they agree to a treaty with the Empire and lay in wait until a new means of destroying the Time Wound shows itself. During the events of Skyrim the Dragonborn comes across the Eye of Magnus, a power magical artifact. When Ancano (a Thalmor agent) becomes aware of the power of the Eye of Magnus he realizes that it could possibly be used to either destroy or cut off Snow Throat from Mundus. As we all already know the Dragonborn stops Ancano and members of the Psijic Order remove the eye from the college. The Thalmor no longer have any means to destroy or deactivate the Time Wound meaning it cannot be deactivated at this point in time. This means that even if they destroy every Tower in our end of the Time Wound we are still linked to that point in the past and it's active Towers. As long as the Time Wound exists Mundus cannot be un-maid ruining the Thalmors evil plot. The three Nord heros did far more then they can possibly imagine for all of Mundus if this theory is true.

Well that is my theory of the Snow Throat Tower, let me know what you think you too are intrigued by the Tower Theory.

well it is certainly interesting, I wonder if it has anything to do with those bugs in jars.

It would make a cool DLC traveling to all the country's in tamrial (small contained areas) to stop the Thalmor.
