Good set up for Hunter's Guild Hall?

Post » Tue Apr 09, 2013 9:45 pm

Because of its central location I have settled on Lakeview Manor.

But what to build?

I'm thinking of building a kitchen wing, trophy wing but I am unsure of the next wing. I thought maybe a bedroom wing for the hunters and what not to stay. However an alchemy wing for all those ingredients would be handy. However aside from the storage though I know I can make alchemy stations in the main hall.

Also who would make a good steward for a hunter guild hall?

I'm kinda designing this for RP purposes with plans on moving some followers there using mods.

I'm pretty set on the kitchen. The alchemy wing or bedroom wing has me in a toss. The basemant will get fully furnished as well. Should be pretty cool when I am done.

Considering the RP purpose of the house, I'd think that the armory, trophy room, and bedroom would be the wings you want. The armory for displaying the guild members' favorite armor and weapons, the trophy room for showing off their many kills, and the bedroom to accomodate those who need to lodge there. There's no need for the alchemy tower, as you can put an alchemy table in the main hall (enchanting table too).

Two things to consider regarding a kitchen:
  • The main hall has a fireplace and cooking pot that allows you to make the game's basic food. So even if you don't build a kitchen, there is still somewhere to cook.
  • If you're dead-set on having a kitchen, the http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=104675412 can turn the near-useless back room of the main hall into a fully functional kitchen. This would free up the east wing for an armory, which I think fits your concept pretty well. One word of caution: If you're going to use SHK, do not add any furniture to that back room. Leave it completely empty, or you'll end up with a jumbled mess of furniture.
Aela and Faendal come to mind as good steward choices.
