i decided to start with the entry hall... i started building all the furnishings, but as i added more, i saw that bethesda obviously didnt expect people to choose EVERYTHING on the list... there are so many things to choose, and they are getting crammed into a very small area.
one of the barrel upgrades came with a kettle stuffed with food, and then one of the little tables was spawned INSIDE the kettle near the main hall door.
one of the wall shelves, for some reason, came with an additional "wall decoration", which was INSIDE the other wall decoration... and a shelf appeared RIGHT beside the workbench, and i think a bowl that was on it went flying off across the room, sending some stuff flying around.
...after all that happened, i said screw it, and reloaded, my house is now empty again.
so, with that combination of wings, does anyone know a good selection of furnishings i can choose to make my house actually look decent, while providing me with plenty of storage, but no screwed up problems like what i just described?
i have ALL of the stuff i got throughout the dawnguard expansion stuffed in the single chest that comes with the house... and i'd REALLY like to spread it out more and organize things.
if i cant decide on anything... i might just leave the house mostly empty, but build the storage containers in the cellar and storage room... chests, safes, etc.
basically, the house will just be a huge closet, nothing more.
hell, considering all the trouble i have to go through, i may just reload further back and leave it as the tiny cabin it started out as, and forget it even exists.
i wish there was a duplication glitch like in oblivion... then i could just dupe all of my materials and easily build what i need.
