fallout 3 enhanced view distance how to achieve?

So currently I'm quite satisfied with my game. It seems quite stable and playable, but there is a few things I want to address but not sure how.

I have more or less the vanilla ini settings, applied darnui fonts and multicore fix.

What is greatly annoying me now is the view distance I have.
If I look into the distance the world is poorly drawn with close to no details.
I would love to stand on a hill and actually see something with decent details.

I'm not to sure which settings to change or if to go with 3rd party software//settings.
To achieve my goal with maximum stability.

Any recommendations is more then welcome!
