I had this problem, but some how I accidentally got it. I think you can get it if your secondary is a pistol.

this is a hard trophy to get so don't thing it has any thing to do with the patch.

i platinum it and this was a hard one to get at first just keep trying you will get there try scarab nova and grenade.

i think i did the nade kill then the nova then the scarab try that see if it helps may take a few hrs but keep pushing you will get there.
