A ***hardcoe*** mode should of been included?

What this game needed was a frickin hardcoe mode... yes thats right, that means all you 12 year old novice players running around the world on shadowmere 1 shotting dragons with your deadric ultra sword of pain just turn away now, for this approach to playing is beyond you.

A hardcoe mode for Skyrim -

> the need for food, water, rest (as per FNV requirements) Water can be drunk straight out of any natural water source, ie need water? drink from a stream.

> Hypothermia. Wander too long in a blizzard with poor armour, and you get penalised. And Im not talking about some casual, streamlined worthless -5 hit to your stamina. Im talking about being unable to sprint, slowed down attack, poor vision and a complete risk of collapse. And dont even think about swimming in the waters around Winterhold.

> Diseases which mean a damn. Since Oblivion, diseases in TES have been worthless. In Morrowind if you got a plague, no svcka would talk to you. All that loot you wanted to sell was just baggage till you found a cure. In Daggerfall if you got a disease in a dungeon, you were lucky to make it out alive... yes that actually meant your entire save file was at risk. Skyrim diseases are literally pointless. Make a disease threatening... like how about the only cure for rockjoint came from a small flower that only grew on the summit of the tallest mountain in the reach? Or from a weed that only grew in the deepest chasm of blackreach.

> Crippled body parts, ie have limping, poor aim with the bow, a weak sword swing, blurred vision etc.. Make us think, and weigh up the risks of any combat we get into.

First bit was annoying so I didn't read much beyond that.

Second, petitions aren't allowed.

I don't think this is a petition, just a suggestion.

Just once I'd like to read one of Ethetan's posts and be immediately put off by the first paragraph because he lacks anything resembling tact.

Would I play a hardcoe mode? No.
Should there be that option? Yes.

PETITION FOR FUTURE PATCH - INCLUDE A hardcoe MODE.
We do not allow petitions on the forums. If you wish to discuss a hardcoe mode that's fine, but please use http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1454437-hardcoe-mode/ (thanks Craig).

Belittling a group of players is not acceptable on the forums.
