Why can't I play my favourite class

Post » Fri Apr 12, 2013 8:53 am

In oblivion and morrowind I played as a monk but in Skyrim they removed the class system which is not the problem. the problem is they have removed hand to hand skill and unarmoured skill, How can I properly roleplay a monk if I don't have the skills they had in past TES games. I know I can play as a cat and wear heavy guantlets but that's not the point, I don't have a skill tree. Bethesda adding finishing moves for hand to hand was nice but what's the point having it when it is ineffective.

What do you guys think should they add hand to hand or unarmoured skill?

I just miss using my fists and not having to wear armour, I don't fancy casting spells all the time to keep armour rating up how about enchanted robes that take less damage from weapons, not as powerful as heavy armour but survivable when fighting.

Put points into enchanting and use the enchantment from the Gloves of the Pugilist to increase hand to hand attacks, as for unarmored that is easy you just need to enchant regular clothes but really I think it was because not a lot of people used hand-to-hand.

Of course an unarmed skill tree should have been in. It baffles me why they ditched unarmed as a skill in skyrim but what are ya gonna do, it's just of of many things that got needlessly axed like mysticism etc.

And even with the advice given above, unarmed is obsolete past level 25-30

I would level Alteration for the Flesh spells along with enchanting.

Oh, and Alchemy.

I know but it is still ineffective at high levels.

I do that but like I said I don't fancy casting spells all the time when I am in combat.
