And? As soon as they lost their divine emperors, they crumbled. They're nothing.
The Nords have obviously fared better since then. Am I right? Yeah. If the Nords were in charge of the Imperial city, they could have easily pummeled the Daedric Prince of destruction back into Oblivion, and quell worrires of the last Septim diesing. Yep. They would have quickly established a new legitmate Emperor with zero bloodshed - despite the restlessness of everyone well knowing the last Septim just died - because they are shrewd diplomats after all. Yep. They would have re-built the Imperial City in record time!
While they're at it, they will single-handely restored Masser and Secunda, repel the Thalmor and successfully invade Alinor with just Nord badd-assery. Yeah! Just like the old epic tale of Ysgrammor and his honorable 500 companions who destoyed an enitre Falmeri force with nothing but pure will. It certainly wasn't dragons. nope, the Dragon cultists from Atmora certainly beyond reason of doubt did not have any draogns aiding them. Pure fallacy. They also did not have a master enchanter who devoted his whole life to obssession with Mer killing magic learned form the Mer themselves. NOPE. Nords don't need magic cuz they awesome and everything because Ysgrammor epic child bed-time tale lol. Totally legit, cuz Talos is a nord too. It's not like he had an Imperial Battle-mage, an undead dragonborn avatar of Lorkhan, his own Dragon mercenaries, or a Dwemeri god-bot doing the work for him. NOPE. He's a Nord therefore he's awesome.
