About to start a melee run and plan on using a chainsaw to start until I get the blade of the west from LR. I'll start LR at level 10ish. I'm not asking for suggestions on how tough LR will be but if Heavy Handed is the right trait to take. I know for chainsaws they recommend but my main plan is to have a Legat Lanuis type character using the blade of the west. Any suggestions? I'll obviously be stacking my strength and endurance for this run and supplementing melee with explosives. No drugs except good old purified water (maybe slasher) and healing powder.

Blade of the West has a knockdown effect on critical hit, which means you should be focusing on crits, which Heavy Handed is bad for.

This what I thought but for the long tough road to get it could I not offset it later with perks and Elijah's Ramblings?
