What optimal settings should I be running Crysis 3 at?

Post » Sat Apr 13, 2013 10:05 am

Windows 7 64 bit
8 gb ram Gskill 1333
Hd7950 Ice q Turbo
GPU clock @1050 Mem clock @ 1575
Amd FX 8120 OC @ 4.3GHz

I was wondering what people think I should be able to run my system at with solid frame rates?

1080 p with everything set to low
If you define solid framerates as 30 fps then its 1080p with very high + SMAA

This sounds like the minimum settings when trying to tweak it, I already run it mostly Max, I have Post processing and Shadows and Shaders set on High instead of ultra. I usually get solid frame rates in multiplayer, however, I seem to get a few graphical spikes here and there and it seems for no apparent reason.

Now when I talk about Singleplayer I have to turn things down a notch whenever I get to the CELL tower where you have to deactivate the power generating from the Eldar Ceph. That zone lags like crazy. I even have to turn down the draw distance, which makes the game look like garbage.
I got this game free with an HD 7950. I was under the assumption I would be able to run it at MAX if not almost MAX, where is the case in Multiplayer.

Is there some sort of optimization the developers need to do.
I have the latest beta driver settings and whatnot.
