Who wants an Undead Slayers and Necromancers guild

Post » Sat Apr 13, 2013 11:44 am

I know the Dawngaurd are sorta about slaying undead and the Volkihar vampires are sorta about necromacy, but wouldn't it be cool if there were guilds based on these things alone? I think it'd finally be a way to implement liches, which I know some people want. I think it'd also be an opportunity to add a lot of great looking weapons and armor.

I'd like this. Would be more fun than vampire-slaying for me, at least.

I think your looking for the Vigilantes of Stendarr when it comes to slaying undead.

As for necromancy, I hear that Hevnoraak has some openings in his undead legion.

Joining the Vigilantes would actually be pretty cool, but please be serious about the necromancers..

That would be cool. I'd actually like to meet a Necromancer that doesn't want to kill me and use my corpse for his experiments for once.

I'm still waiting on a legitimately good-moraled guild though :whistling:

Why? The College of Winterhold has no restrictions against necromancy or daedric summoning. Even the prior Mages' Guild didn't really care till Traven blundered and pissed off the Council of Wizards.

Even now, the College of Whispers in Cyrodiil has no issue with necromancy.

Yes. I would love this. We have Vampires and Werewolves. We need some Lichdom! They have been apart of every TES game. They need to be an option in the next TES. I don't think we can expect it to be added in a dlc though...

Order of the Black Worm would be an obvious choice for a Necromancer guild.

As for Undead slayers. A Meridian order could suffice. Meridia, Daedric Prince of Life and energy, is the staunchest opponent to the undead besides Arkay.

You heard correctly.

Honestly, my first idea for undead slayers would be holy-ish warriors who dislike all crime, war, and evil. So I want the undeadslayers to be good-moraled :whistling:

Also, Lich transformation would be badass.

It would. As a Lich, you can have illusionary abilities to disguise yourself as mortal if you need to interact with npcs in citites and towns.

The power could be called True Form, i.e you take on your true form as a lich instead of pretending to be a mortal.
