I currently have a character that is focused on only carrying one gun that he actually uses in combat, and only using revolvers.

I am trying to decide on the best revolver to be my one and only gun.

I tried lucky, but the loading style proved a hindrance and quite dangerous in many situations. It was especially an issue when being charged by deathclaws or higher level critters in HH on another guns character.

I am currently rocking http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/48570 which is a .44 that has a 1.5 crit multiplier and 47 base and crit damage, with accuracy on par with lucky.

I welcome recommendations of both vanilla and mod revolvers, but if you suggest a mod please link to it as well.
