I'm looking for a console command (or series of commands) that will allow me to clean out my house. I really want to buy the Scientist theme, but it just comes with so much useless junk...microscopes, phones, test tubes, and similar flotsam. All things that I can't add to my inventory, but still want to get rid of.

Is there a command for destroying (or deleting, or removing) items like this?

There actually two commands you can use. First, open the console and left click on the object you want to remove. Then type "disable", it that doesn't work, use "zap".
