Alright, so I have played through the game several times. On my most recent playthrough, I've held off going to the College of Winterhold till after I completed Dragonborn. I'd also been holding off on the Thieves Guild after hearing about the 1.9 patch.

So, I joined the Thieves Guild (largely to formally get the No Stone Unturned quest) and went to join the Mages Guild.

Faralda is telling me that my skills are not high enough for me to join. I've never seen this sort of thing happen before. ESPECIALLY not after I have gone Legendary with my Destruction and Alteration.

Yes, I used the Oghrim Infinium glitch. It's the second time that I've done it and the last time, I had no problem joining the College.

I went legendary with my other magic skills as well after the first time of her telling me skills were not high enough. I've also raised my Enchanting, and Alteration back to 100. My Destruction is at 50.

Completely confused here as my skills more than meet what she states in her dialog. Basically that I need to be able to cast Apprentice (may have been Adept) level spells. Not only do I have and use Apprentice level spells but I also have Adept, Expert, Novice spells. I also have one Master level spell tome that I found in one of the Black Book realms but I have not used it.

Now, when I go back to talk to her, it repeats the same line about my skills not having improved. I'm going to try the Persuade option again when my Speech is back at 100.

However, is this new thing that she is doing connected to the 1.9 patch and legendary skills?

I'm thinking maybe u went on legendary? is your skills back to 100 or getting there? I too used the Oghma Infinium and i just used my speech skill to get past her cause i didn't have a spell she's looking for..
