I can still hear the growling of the bloody ghouls now. It's a shame there isn't really scary enemies either in Skyrim. There is nothing scary whatsoever about Draugr in my opinion. No redeeming quality. Give me headless zombies that make ridiculous gargling noises and groans that echo down hallways. Not Draugr.
Draugr are lame because there is no shock value in them. Feral Ghouls came completely out of nowhere, usually from behind you. You hear the growl and you know you're screwed, especially if it's a Reaver. I remember my first Feral, I was going around in a subway when I passed a collapsed tunnel. Much to my dismay I missed the feral ghoul waiting in ambush there, and then came the scream and something started punching me from behind. I just started shooting around like mad and ran out of the subway, not to return until I realized that it's the only way to get into downtown D.C.

Thing abut Draugr is that they are so slow and unpredictable. No shock value, at all. Like everything else in Skyrim, come to think of it.
