Unable to rest in player-created home

Here's the story.

I've created a home based on the Thalmor Embassy, and recently tried to add a simple NPC.

- I created a new actor, and placed him in one of the rooms
- Added some things to inventory, gave him a spell list, etc...
- Added PlayerFaction to his faction tab
- I created a new relationship with the player as Boss
- I then added 3 scripts ( DefaultEatMorning, DefaultEatEvening and DefaultSleepEditorLoc20x8)
- Next I linked the DefaultEat scripts to a chair in a different room in hopes he would use that table to eat.

When I loaded the game and entered the house, I found the NPC, who greeted me "divines smile on you". When I clicked on him however....his voice became very distant and echo-y, and he said things like "hey cheese brain", "skeever breath". VERY CREEPY!

Anyway...I started to advance the time by one hour increments to test his schedule. Since it was already late in game, he went to sleep first. At this point, I clicked on him to be sure that he would still talk, which he did. After this however, I could no longer advance time, and received the warning "you cannot rest while being asked to leave". So it seems that he wanted me out while he slept.

I left, and re-entered the home a dozen times. I waited for up to a week game-time before re-entering, and traveled all over the continent. No effect...still couldn't wait or rest in the home. At this point I realized that I had never unchecked the Interior Data "Off Limits" box. I did so, and tried again. No effect.

I finally removed the NPC from the home and replaced any link references to the chair I mentioned above. STILL NO EFFECT! CAN'T REST IN MY OWN HOME!

HALP! I really don't want to erase this thing and start over.
