I found this great mod on the Nexus http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32057 Weapons and Armor Degradation and Repair with MCM Menu Options. After you install the mod you are given a ring to wear which brings up a pop up menu where you can adjust the degree of degration that you want. As soon as I put on the ring I can no longer hold any weapons except for bows. I also can no longer equip shields. If I try to hold a sword or axe in my hand and press right trigger and A on my PC Xbox controller I duplicate the item I'm trying to hold. Sometimes I can hold a duplicate copy of a weapon in 1 of my hands but never a shield? I tried this indoors and outdoors. I tried starting a fresh save game. I put the mod at the top and the bottom of my load order. Nothing seems to work. I expect this to be a fairly popular mod. Is this happening to other people? As I am new to modding I only install mods with the Nexus Mod Manager.
