Now that Beth has said farewell, anyone about to say hello? Anyone plan on starting a new character this weekend and playing through all this massive content again?

Nope shelved this game ^^

My only hope is TesVI wont be as shallow and unfinished as skyrim was on launch next time round.

Probably eventually anyways but not any time soon. thanks to Bethesda listening to complainers and axeing OI glitch I don't feel like making new characters anymore. Already leveled plenty without it and have grown tired of it.

Just started a new one a week ago. Now I'm rolling two characters - Altmer Female Barbarian and a Nord Male old school warrior (only Ancient Nord equipment).

Started modding too. I made Niranye into a follower and gave her voiced lines to go with it.

Still playing my female nord assassin. When I get close to the end of that one I'll do what I always do.......start a new one. I never get tired of this game and will always keep playing.

Thanks again Beth for making an epic game!

When did you shelve it?

when ps3 was [censored] over with the whole dlc crap that went on lol

to be fair i guess they did try to fix it and add more meat to the game in the dlc's but it wasnt enough to gain my interest after i finished the main quest and all the faction quests in vanilla.

Tbh i was hoping for a faction dlc add on that would add more depth to college of winterhold and what not however i did enjoy the dark brotherhood quest line like i did with oblivion'd dark brotherhood quest line too. Guess its cause they're awsome lol

Yep. I started a new character this weekend. I’m not done with Skyrim yet. Heck, I’m still playing vanilla Oblivion.

Well, Beth did help us out by making it half price for the week of release.

I'm really not cheered up right now, thanks to the news. but i'll probably be better in a few days. i'll be taking a break from Skyrim and playing the new Dishonored DLC. after i cooldown ill probably go back to skyrim. maybe ill keep playing or find a way to retire my dunmer character somehow on raven rock. the thing is i used to play skyrim hoping that something new would happen. i always thought there was gonna be more new stuff after DB and Dawnguard. but now knowing that the game is dead. i just wont have the urge to play it anymore. don't get me wrong skyrim is full with quests and can get you playing for years, but i already did all that more than once. but at the same time the game still has a lot of missing content. (pointing at the civil war) without DLC's there to keep me going i'm afraid i won't be able to play any longer.

Being that this is my first ES game, I bought Oblivion during the Christmas holiday and didnt really get far into it. Just because I couldn't put Skyrim down. Maybe I'll give it a shot.

+1.
There are now 2 different versions of Niamh in Skyrim, and she's still in Oblivion.
Admittedly they all exist in heavily modified versions but neither I nor they are likely to get bored anytime soon...
Plenty of other things, but not bored.
