Ha ha. :) Yeah, good ol' Mrs. Bishop...

As far as I know, there's no way out of that situation. I have once been able to sneak my way out of there, but I think it took a number of retries.

If you can't fight your way out, you might try running away? (If you search through some of those safes before trying to get past Mr. Bishop, I think there's likely some Jet or some other drugs in there - to give you a few more AP for running like heck.)

Sneak, or keep entering/exiting combat.... I think you can also walk behind him.

I cannot enter and exit combat when enemies are around my sneak is only 35% and wont i get killed if i walk behind him because there is a guard right by door

Nope. If you get into a fight with the bishops, only family bishop will attack... But that said, theres a lot of them on the way out.

The best way to do that without having to kill them is to show the briefcase from VC to the guards under the staiway to the top floor BEFORE you sleep with the bishop girls..

Yeah, the best advice I can give you for playing Fallout 1 and 2 is to not only save often (which hopefully you're already doing) but make use of all those save slots. The old Fallouts tend to enjoy placing you into sticky situations, and sometimes you're going to find yourself unable to get out of them, or regretting your choices. (There's that gorramn doctor in Fallout 1 who will rip your eye out and drop your PER by a whole bunch if make the wrong dialogue choices with him, for example.) A number of different saves will make it a lot easier to "rewind" your game without having to go too far back.

Well, you could always cheat your way out of there, too (don't worry I won't tell...) I think it's called "Falche," or something like that (I'm sure you could find it over at NMA,) that lets you alter your Stats (and I think add weapons and such.) If you're really that stuck, with no earlier saves (shame on you,) then you could always cheat your character up until you get out of that situation, and then revery your character to normal afterwards...

Going forward - I do highly recommned that you keep at least three saves that you alternate each time. For situations just like that. :)

I know its wrong to say that there's a "Wrong Way" to visit the towns, but New Reno is intended for higher level characters. After the Den, Modoc then VC are intended to be next. If you have the car, then its time to visit Reno.

(that said on my first run through, I went to Reno before VC too).
