Monopoly

At a time when Crysis 3 needs more players than ever it sits alone online being micro-managed by outside organizations which harbor their own rules of conduct and play. These admins prioritize each player by whichever one has made a "donation" to their gaming group. This can only lead to more unfair treatment.

There is no one in the Crytek servers. This can't continue much longer, you are allowing admins to control your game population on their own grounds. As well Crytek is losing money by having so many unpopulated servers. These outside admins choose to ban whomever they want, for whatever they want, and as I said earlier, additionally they are prioritizing players by money spent on them.

Crytek needs to halt all unofficial servers until it can regain control again. Too many people, like myself are banned for silly things, talking out of line, using a certain weapon type, etc. The only true reason to ban a person is if they were hacking. Right now the community is so small it's almost non-existant. Crysis 3 as a game can't sustain with outside party admins in control. These admins have different interests in mind, and are more concerned about getting their donations and playing favorites for their paying customers.

Bottom line, the only people that should be banned right now are the ones who have been caught hacking. You can make your case for other reasons but those are truly not worthy of a ban. Crytek needs to halt any non-Crytek server for the time being and populate the servers to the fullest extent. Right now the Crysis 3 PC online community is being monopolized by outside interests in the form of 3rd party admins and gaming organizations. Crytek, will you please re-gain control of your games population.

It is a monopoly, but to one of the smallest extents. From Dictionary.com

mo·nop·o·ly [muh-nop-uh-lee] Show IPA
noun, plural mo·nop·o·lies.
1.
exclusive control of a commodity or service in a particular market, or a control that makes possible the manipulation of prices. Compare duopoly, oligopoly.
2.
an exclusive privilege to carry on a business, traffic, or service, granted by a government.
3.
the exclusive possession or control of something.
4.
something that is the subject of such control, as a commodity or service.
5.
a company or group that has such control.

In this case I choose #3, 4, and/or 5. If you are only considering the term monopoly with regards to finances, then I suppose you could pair that with the donations being made to these gaming groups. But I really don't care about the money here. My point is the game has become micro-managed by outside sources who have different interests than Crytek. These groups want you gaming all the time on their servers and only their servers, and to abide by their set of rules. Which is only ending up in splitting the community up more, whether it's by perk/weapon usage, or just a flat out ban.

It's a monopoly because I can't just go on and play just play Crysis 3 as provided by Crytek, I have to join a server provided by an outside party. When that outside party controls all of the active populated servers for a game type then that becomes a monopoly.
