Petition for more DLC unresonable?

Post » Tue Apr 16, 2013 10:20 pm

Is it wrong of me to want a petition calling for Bethesda to finish and release DLC that was until their announcement, in development? I am a huge TES and Bethesda fan, I even bought the CE and all DLC. But like many others I'm very disappointed that we only got 3 DLCs, and were plainly told and teased that we were getting more. Also adding to it were the Snow Elf and Redguard rumors, which were admittedly never confirmed by Bethesda, but never denied them.

For me, unlike many games, Skyrim begs to be expanded and added to. Like others on here have said, they could have tied storylines and add more content, stories etc. and I would love to sign a online petition showing Bethesda that we fans are not done with Elder Scrolls V and want them to continue DLC development.

What’s your opinion?

Well, the only thing I can say is that petitions aren't allowed on this site. However, I don't know if there is a rule against wanting a petition.

Can't make petitions.

It's over, deal with it.

If they were allowed on this site, I'd sign it, but it's best to move on. Only way to make a company listen is with bank, and I don't plan on not buying Beth games any time soon. Nor do I think anyone should stop buying them. Beth put out a great awesome game, but their PR needs some work. If they said earlier DB was the last dlc, I'd still be disappointed, but it would have hurt a lot less. It's best to just enjoy Skyrim for what it is and move on. Dragonborn ended on a sour note, but I resisted old Herma Mora, so as far as I'm concerned, my dragonborn either mantles Talos, becomes a god from all the dragon souls he consumes or goes to Sovngarde. I'm content.

I am fully capable of enjoying a game and still wanting more experiences from it. They don't conflict for me.

Were they planning on a DLC, unfinished or not?

As am I, but I'm saying it's best not to get your hopes up.

I believe someone quoted Gstaff and it said that working on PS3 took up their time. I'll look for it in case I'm wrong.

If you want to petition, you'd best not buy whatever they're making next. Not that it will do anything, but if they had to use the whole skyrim team on the next project, then it must be getting tense.

Either that, or it'll be mediocre at best, like the dlc's were.

No petitions. Even if you were allowed, I doubt it would do anything. Beth has moved on from Skyrim, its over. Tough isn't it?

It'd be nice to get some real numbers to gauge interest in Skyrim DLC.. even though the demand is pretty evident any way. I just wish they'd randomly give us a small one.
