I have never played either of these 2 games although have always wanted to and now I am in need of a new game to play so I have a few questions.

1) Are these games something you would consider important in understanding the Fallout universe or is all you need to know already explained well enough in FO3 and NV to not warrant these games on lore alone?

2) Are these games actually any good, better than FO3 for example and if so why?

3) Do the old styles of these games hold up to newer standards, example are there different quest choices like in NV or is it limited to only one outcome?

4) How do these games perform on Windows 7, do they actually work well. I only ask because they are so old and don't really want to have to install other software to run them well?
