The yield system.

I know. The game's finished and all that. But still why do I need to stand like a idiot letting myself getting hit repeatedly with the risk of getting myself killed in order to make some guard understand I'm attempting a yield? Why they couldn't do it like Oblivion, while instead of using the attack button, you press E?

Seriously, anyone have tips to deal with people refusing yields without killing them and getting yourself a buttload of aggro?

Don't get a high bounty.
One thing that ticked me off about Skyrim is that most of the bandits and such will still try to kill you even after they've said they yield. Yeah, I know, bandits are dishonest, right? Well, they should've at least made a system where there is a 50% chance of them actually running away instead of getting back up and fighting again. I just hate how merciless and unforgiving my characters are made because of a faulty AI system.

Well, the only time it happened, I was feeding on a guard as a vampire.

Back peddle while repeatedly sheathing and unsheathing your weapon until the Guard(s) get the idea.

This is why Imperial is the best race in Skyrim. Voice of the Emperor. Use that to calm them and then pay off your bounty.

All right. Though I'm kinda tempted to kickstart a Imperial.
