So, I have a new 360 and a new copy of Skyrim. Only about 30 hours on both. Do the newer copies come patched? I'm having freezing issues when walking though doors. Ones that lead into towns. Namely Solitude, and Windhelm. And the worst is leaving the thieves guild. The shortcut where you have to pull the chain and the top opens up. When I try to enter or exit, it starts to go into the loading screen, then it freezes. I can still barely make out my character. It doesn't happen all the time. But, more often then not. I never had this problem on the PS3. And it's passing me off. I haven't installed it because I have to wait until payday to get and hdd. I bought the Skylander bundle 360. So it's a new slim version. I empty the cache almost every time I play. Any thoughts? All autosaves are off.

You have to connect to Xbox live to get the patch. There is no patch on the disc afaik. They don't usually put the patch on a disc until the GOTY edition.

You have to be online in order for the patches to download.

I don't have live. I've never played the DLC. Any of them.

Damn. Sorry friend. Only way to get MASSIVE fixes is by installing the patches. You also can't play DLC without patches.

You can take it to your friends house. xbox live is free. you don't need the paid version.

He doesn't need to download all 9 patches, the most recent is retroactive. If memory serves, it is 25 megabytes.
