I've always been someone who prefers "Adept" difficulty, as I don't like battering away at a health bar until finally the enemy dies.
But with the arrival of Legendary difficulty, I've been thinking of creating a character who is simply NOT anything special when it comes to doing/taking damage. Someone distinctly "under average" when it comes to wielding a sword or destruction spell, and is dependent on other means to get by.
I'm fairly certain that the damage multipliers are only applied to damage that is directly done to/taken from the player character.
As in, everyone else (NPCs/followers etc) all do normal damage to each other.
What I'd like to know/confirm is:
1. Is Illusion affected by the difficulty level/damage multiplier?
i.e. If I cast a fear spell on Legendary, will the level of enemies that are affected by reduced by the same multiplier as damage?
2. Is Poison affected by the difficulty level/damage multiplier?
As this isn't a "direct" method of damaging an enemy, I just wondered whether the same damage multiplier affects poisons applied to enemies too?
3. Are summons/followers affected by the difficulty level/damage multiplier?
Is damage done to/from summons and followers to/from enemies affected by the difficulty setting?
Thanks.
