Spoiler
The dragonborn was remembered in Skyrim throughout the years. He saved Skyrim and the whole of Tamriel from the world eater. His desire to help people showed what a hero is like. He united cities to the point where he became a thane for each one. He helped citizens with their every day needs and eventually becoming their friend and to him, their family. He had hardships as well. He lost many friends. He adopted children. Even a hero such as himself needs a humble hearthfire of love. His family most likely loved him as well.
The dragonborn grew powerful. His path of the voice led him to another path. A path where no one should go. After the problems of Solstheim emerged he went right at the opportunity to help out. Miraak corrupted the minds of many in hope of returning. No evil should walk Tamriel, so the dragonborn destroyed him. Even though this good deed took place, he was seduced by a darker power. A power that made him powerful. Hermaeus Mora, daedric prince of knowledge, fate and destiny, showed him the power that the dragonborn could perform. Unwilling or not, the dragonborn became a powerful servant of Hermaeus Mora. Returning the Tamriel, the power basically oozed off him.
Though there was evil within him, evil known as Hermaeus Mora, he saved Soltheim and helped Solstheims inhabitants. He became a trusted ally of House Redoran and House Telvanni. A truly marvelous feat.
The dragonborn, who started off as a prisoner, became the protector of Skyrim and saviour of Solstheim but also a power seduced servant of Hermaeus Mora. His duty in Skyrim has been completed but his adventures are not finished. He will continue on his adventures. As the dovahkiin.
The end.
