Their done, you can stop thinking about them because this is their MO.

Oblivion:

Latest patch: April 2007
GOTY edition: October 2007

No further patches released.

Fallout 3:

Latest patch: September 2009
GOTY edition: October 2009

No further patches released.

Fallout: New Vegas:

Latest patch: September 2011
Ultimate edition: February 2012

No further patches released.

And now Skyrim with 1.9 pathetic excuse for a final patch and the legendary edition coming out in June. So please stop with your daydreaming of extra content or bug fixes because the company that does that only exists in your dreams.

I very much doubt it as well. If Beth would release patches after it's done with the DLC, it would be a first as far as I know.

Lets wait and see....
Nothing certain. This is Bethesda after all.
They announced patches and i hope for lip-sync issue. For everything else as usuall unofficial patches + mods

Maybe yes maybe "tell me lies... again"

It would anyway be a first if Bethesda managed to patch a game up to "mostly bug free". ;)

Why is 1.9 a "pathetic excuse for a final patch"? It added a lot of bugfixes. I'm satisified with what it does. I'd prefer it if we got more bugfixes earlier (instead of Kinect support, for example...), but 1.9 itself was rather good.

1.9 may look big and shiny... but it isn't

i hope for a final patch 1.10.
So far Bethesda has done many things for and with Skyrim, that they never did before. especially things that please the fan base. And i want to point out a few things, because it seems the forum-people tend to focus on the things beth did wrong.

here goes:
1.5 Years of Support for the Game.
Steam Workshop integration (and probably being one of the driving forces behind the whole steam workshop alltogether) and easier mod management (e.g. no more sorting by file date)
High res DLC, even for the Expansions
updates and fixes for DLC (admitedly, only for the High Res DLC, part of this could also be blamed on Sony's and Microsoft's policies)
More community feedback (people still complained about a lack of feedback, but it was better then what Beth did for games before)

so here's to hope they add a "Legendary Edition Patch" to the mix as well. Keeping fingers crossed.

No, go look at all their games bug lists and then look at Skyrims. They have no sense of professional responsibility but Skyrim is in a whole new ball park. It is blatantly clear that no effort was put in testing or fixing the game, logical things like radiant quests pointing you to non spawn dungeons leaving you with an unfinished quest for eternity and breaking the quest chain. Things that would have been picked up immediately in QA had any thought been put in to them. If you look at the bug lists you will see them get progressively worse with each game, but with Skyrim they simply did not care.
