Griefing in Hunter

Post » Sun Apr 21, 2013 9:27 pm

I would like to apologise. In Hunter today, there was a good player who was always either in contention for, or outright won every match. He was my direct competition, and as it's an every man for himself FFA mode, I managed to win most of my matches against him by outright griefing.

I would like to apologise for;
Blocking your way into safe rooms, resulting in you getting shot in the back.
Rushing to your hiding point from last round and throwing the shield left there out of the level.
Pushing you off multiple ledges and out of vents and into enemies.
When you rode the thermal up to the top of Central Caverns and threw your shield up, stealing it immediately and jumping off the side, leaving you defenceless and killed seconds after.
Firing holograms in your general direction to attract enemies.
Not doing a single thing to help when you were being attacked, despite having plenty of chances to kill the attacker.

I have also purposely svcked teammates out of Hydro Dam, electrocuted them on Skyline, blown them up on East River and dropped trains on them in Penn Depot.

I am a terrible human being. But I've also won a lot of games of Hunter. :D

On 360 at least it's often the second most popular. It usually goes back and forth with Crash Site.

As it ruins your k/d and w/l (it's a very unpredictable FFA mode with the odds against you) a lot of the elitist douchebags never touch it, so it's usually got quite a fun and friendly vibe around it.
