I know where the car is in the den and i have enough for it (?2000) but i need to find a fuel cell controller? from another car (chrysalis highwayman) i found one in klamath trapper town but all that was in the car was a fuel cell regulator where do i find the controller or whatever it is.

The Fuel Cell Controller can be found in Gecko in the Junkyard area ( Back Area of Gecko ). In one of the big house, there a Ghoul name Skeeter. He is willing to trade it, if ya have a Super Tool Kit in stock.

Ya can get the Super Tool Kit from buying it from car dealer Smitty or a little quest from Valerie in Vault City.

You can also waste the ghoul in gecko who has your part, and take it from his corpse, however he does have a second quest, so personaly I don't recommend it.

how do i refuel?

Use the ammo for the energy weapons. Use the cells on the car. The small energy cells work, but don't provide much. Make sure you have the fuel cell regulator installed. You get it from the Highwayman during the rats escapade. Take it to Smiley and have him install it for about $750. You get better mileage out of the car

EDIT: Use the cells on the car.

Just to clairfy, the Micro Fusion Cell are generally the best fuel to use, unless you're well overstocked in the SEC's.
