Grunt

I try out different equipment just to see what is there. When I tried out The Survivalist's rifle for the first time, I wasn't impressed. Might have done an energy build at the time. But I tried again. i liked the rate of fire and how fast it reload. I am testing it out in Zion.

I am only using weapons that are affected by the Grunt perk. Using a marksman carbine instead of a GRA AMR for a long range snipping is a big differnce. Have to make some adjustments for that.

The SR will my default, equiped, weapon. The moded light machine gun will be for backup against those nightstalkers in OWB and the tunnelers in LR. The problem I see with just those weapons is the bots in OWB. Getting lots of AP rounds for the LM is too time consuming. In the wasteland isn't too be bad because I can select when to fight deathclaws and other nastys with high DT. Any suggestions?

I will bring along thump-thump, I don't often use projectile weapons. but sometimes I do. Does the Heave Ho! perk increase thump-thump's range? I heard it does but a patch might have changed that.

Use the All-American for high DT opponents, imo. That or an Assault Carbine with AP bullets.

Quartermaster Bardon and the Great Khan Armorer have truckloads of ammo to sell, so you can stock up on AP rounds.

And yeah iirc Heave Ho effects Thump-Thump.
