When I got my new desktop I tried to install Oblivion, I purchased the GOTY edition when it was released, and it made it through about half of the installation, give or take, when my PC froze. (I had been waiting for my RAM to arrive and was using an 8-Core 4.0ghz processor with 2gb of RAM to start so things were a bit laggy.) I turned my PC off and back on like you do when one freezes and now when I put in my Oblivion disc I get the normal Play/Data Files/Uninstall etc. menu. However, when I click play I get an error because I don't have all of the files and when I try to uninstall I get the same thing. I'm not really sure how to tackle this. I tried removing the folder from my program files and nothing changed. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I LOVE Oblivion to death!
