*SPOILER*








So I'm trying to finish this bugfest, after walking away from it awhile back to wait for a patch....and I can't finish the f*cking game. I'm floating out in space, and after a lengthy cutscene, I'm prompted to shoot some satellite laser cannon at the giant Ceph squid that's about to destroy Earth. The prompt says " Rt. Stick to Aim, Rt. Trigger to fire "...and nothing else. Problem is, I CAN'T DO EITHER. The game refuses to respond to my inputs, aside from the menu and pause buttons. So, Earth gets obliterated, and the game immediately forces a checkpoint restart....RINSE AND REPEAT.

I've checked all over the internet, including scanning the bugs/glitches threads here, and I've not found a single post about this specific bug. If anyone knows anything, a response would be appreciated. At this point, I just want to get my final achievement(s) to reward me for putting up with this glitch-filled piece of sh*t for so long, so I can still get something for it on eBay/Amazon/Craigslist.

BTW, if anyone knows of a fix for the SCAR ammo glitch...which was also in Crysis 2 (unf*ckingbelievable I know)... some info on that would be nice as well.


Crytek has become one of the worst devs in the industry....and I'm starting to think EA is largely to blame, given their recent track record/failures with SimCity, DS3, MOH, etc.
